In conjunction with the public holiday, KTMB announced on Facebook that the company is offering a train service for holiday-goers to travel from KL Sentral to Hat Yai on Thursday night, 15 September, and return on Sunday afternoon, 18 September. The train ride from Kuala Lumpur to Hat Yai takes about seven hours one way.

If you are travelling from Johor or Kuala Lumpur, from Kedah or Pahang, from Penang or Perlis or any other places, you will be able to get a train to Hatyai. The train line that will take you to this city in Thailand is Malaysia's national railway service KTM or Keretapi Tanah Melayu.
